RE: The Notebook v. 3.0
I wish Egyptians cared as much as Americans do for animals. We have an infinite amount of loose cats and dogs in the streets. I see a dead/squashed-cat/dog at least once every week. They just don't care for them.

I used to have a cat when I was 3. We were still in Canada back then. I used it as a couch, so it bit me and ran away. I never saw it again. My father and his exgirlfriend used to have a dog called Hind, but when they broke up, she took it. We bought two cats around 2 years ago. My father thought they were extremely annoying, and had absolutely no positive feelings towards them. I personally thought they were funny and cute...except for the times where they stuck their heads between the fridge's door when I was closing it. That was very funny. But, yeah, when they realized my step mother is expecting, they had to give the cats away, and they did.

...our minds shot together.

I found the same when I lived in Greece but they are slowly coming round to the fact that Cats and Dogs also make good pets, it's the culture I guess, cats were there for the rats and dogs for any intruders to the land.

RE: The Notebook v. 3.0
Not all Americans treat their pets decently. My family treats our pets like family, and we do for them like we would any one of us. We racked up nearly $1,000 in vet bills for our kitty that we had to put down, because there was no other option. We weren't going to euthanize until the vets told us that there was no more medically that could be done for him, and that's what we did. That way we could be comfortable with the knowledge that we did all we could, and spared no expense.

There are a lot of other people in this country though, who thinks pets are just animals, and while they may give them the basics (shelter, water, food, minimal medical care), they don't do anymore that. Me personally, I find that abhorrent, but that's because I'm an animal lover, and don't view them that way.

My brother bought a bag of catnip today... Can't wait to try it out on our cat, right after double checking all reliable sources on whether it really is safe to let your cat trip on it.

Catnip is harmless to cats. Only about 50% of them though, will respond to it. Some cats go nuts, others don't get it. Our cat has a catnip toy, with some of it inside the stuffing. He goes bonkers with it.

So so so very excited -- I'm getting a new computer next month. Finally upgrading to a Macbook. I love Macs, and the only reason I haven't had one up until now has been finances. You can't see me now, but I'm doing a jig of glee.

Hahaha! That's great.

I've got to analyse 18 french texts for tomorrow, and I also have to know the most essential things about their authors.

Here's my list:

Argumentation:
La dent d'or - Fontenelle
Les Animeaux Malades de la Peste - Jean de la Fontaine
Lettres Persanes - Montesquieu

Poetry
La Chanson du Mal Aime - Appollinaire
Si Je Mourais... - Appollinaire
La Servante - Charles Baudelaire
Une Charogne - Charles Baudelaire
Puisque J'ai Mis Mes Levres a ta Coupe Encore Pleine - Victor Hugo
Ma Tristesse - Marbeuf
Barbara - Prevelle

that...and Voyage au Bout de la Nuit - Celine, a novel and a play, Lorenzaccio - Musset.

...our minds shot together.

So! I ran the Ten Miles Of Antwerp, and I have to say it was quite fun. Finished it in 1 hour, 30 minutes and 54 seconds, which I consider quite good for how little effort I put into training.
The first 12 km went really smooth, but then my legs started hurting. :P I didn't slow down though (one of my bad habits) so I ended up not being able to walk the next day because my legs hurt so bad.

Edit: Yay, found a picture.

Yea, I've noticed that. It's insane. Poor mods!

Cabbage is a vegetable.
