Pink Floyd on the radio
Not sure if there's a thread about this, but share which PF songs you've heard on the mainstream radio! Especially interesting if it's not WYWH, ABITW2 or Money.

The Great Gig in the Sky is playing right now. I really can't believe my ears.

I heard Mother on the radio earlier this week. Here's a list of the ones I can remember hearing on classic rock stations in my area:

One Of These Days
Time
Money
Welcome To The Machine (a bunch)
Have a Cigar
Wish You Were Here
Another Brick In The Wall Pt 1 (never by itself)
Happiest Days of Our Lives (never by itself)
Another Brick In The Wall Pt 2 (by itself or with all three)
Mother
Goodbye Blue Sky
Young Lust
Hey You
Comfortably Numb
Run Like Hell
Learning To Fly

RE: Pink Floyd on the radio
My classic rock station plays a decent variety of stuff from Dark Side, WYWH, and The Wall. I've heard:

Breathe
Time
Money (of course)
Us and Them
Brain Damage/Eclipse
Welcome to the Machine
Have a Cigar
Wish You Were Here
Dogs
The Happiest Days of Our Lives/Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2 (of course)
Young Lust
Comfortably Numb

Every weekday at 10 am, the station has 107 minutes of commercial free classic rock, so I'm always tempted to call and ask if they could play Dogs in its entirety.

You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to, so that when they turn their backs on you, you'll get the chance to put the knife in.

RE: Pink Floyd on the radio
Sad to say, the only PF songs I've ever heard on the radio in regular rotation were Money, ABITW pt. 2, and Wish You Were Here. Occasionally, the rock station out of Roanoke, VA would play Learning To Fly, but that's a very, very, very, very rare thing. The only time you ever heard songs aside from those, was during the New Year's Eve Top 1000 countdown, and people would normally request other PF songs like Comfortably Numb, Time, and Shine On You Crazy Diamond. That's once a year, though.

Otherwise, if you want to listen to PF, put on your vinyl/CDs/iPods.

The local Milwaukee stations will routinely play Money, WYWH, CN, ABITWP2, Time, Us & them. On occason.......Learning to fly, On the Turning Away, Run Like Hell. I actually listen to Pandora internet radio most often. I set it up with Pink Floyd as the main artist, and along with band songs, they'll play solo atuff as well. They mix in other bands of the same era, but mainly Floyd related songs.

RE: Pink Floyd on the radio
the only Floyd songs I hear on the radio are (like already mentioned) WYWH, ABITW 2, Time and Learning To Fly. - but! once a year there's a "hit parade" of a special radio station with 1000 songs voted by the listeners and I believe they even played Echoes! woah
