RE: Austrailian Pink Floyd Tour 2011
I already saw them last Sunday. Great show, but the setlist kinda disappointed me. There was too much post-waters material when they could have fit in more classic stuff, such as Mother or Us and Them. And Dogs, although I love the song and the album Animals entirely, is kinda long and drawn out for a Pink Floyd tribute band. If I were in charge, I would've dropped Dogs and one of the Division Bell/AMLOR tracks and put in Echoes. I've seen TAPFS three years straight hoping to hear that song, and I've never seen it yet. They have played it before, btw. I imagine seeing this song performed live so well would be a life-changing experience. I was pleased to hear Careful with that Axe, Eugene. That's prolly one of my top 5 favorite Pink Floyd songs. Of the three years I've seen the band, this show had the best visuals and the best venue for the city I live in. The Morrison Center theater was probably the best choice of venue you could have.

I saw Echoes being played live by an Egyptian tribute band, and they also had a laser show. Great stuff. Although the leader singer was an ass, he had a great voice. Almost similar to David's. They also sang Us and Them with an American back singer, she sounded really good! They played one post Waters song. They had started with Pigs on the Wing part 1 and 2 with a guitar solo in between. They kind of went through the entire Animals album in 30 seconds, haha. They also played Have a Cigar and Wish You Were Here. I think that's it? I could be wrong.
...our minds shot together.

Check this performance of Echoes out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kc15ZII3dFw It's by Brit Floyd. They'll be touring in the US and Canada from the end February onwards and I'm sure they'll be including Echoes in their set list. The Brit Floyd line up includes everyone who toured as TAPFS for at least the last 3 years in North America.

I might get tickets for that if Roger doesn't announce the dates for his 2nd North American Stadium leg of The Wall.
