B4 yall start 2 attack let me just say that "The Wall" was original. I seen both movies and heard both albums ("Tommy" & "The Wall"). But I do since a link here, and there R quite few plot similarities:
Tommy's father was SUPPOSEDLY killed in WWII, and then when he came back his mom & stepdad killed him right in front of his eyes sending him to a catatonic state and sits or stands in front of mirrors or bright flashing lights (like in a pinball machine) And he's exploited by his mom & stepdad 4 $. Once he is "healed", he is hailed as "The New Messiah"
Pink's father actually WAS killed in WWII, when he didnt need 2 die anyway because his sargent asked his men B withdrawn but that was denyed. and his mom & teachers abuse him and his wife cheats on him and his agant is pressuring him 2 tour and he and the record industry are explioting him 4 $. All this sends him in a catatonic state in front of the TV. Only 2 go absolutly bonkers while being annoyed by a groupie, breaking out of his catatonic state only 2 become a Hitler-like dictator.
I find so many similarites in that. Do yall think that "Tommy" & The Wall" share a link in a way?

Some loose similarities. Tommy's one of the best albums ever.
