Me too, and I think you and I aren't the only ones... It's funny, but ABITW is a song that attracts many people to the Floyd, but once they learn about the not-so-cheesy music they have made, many start hating that song.

There are so many things about that song that just irritate the pants out of me. The double negative in first verse, those children, the disco drums.....the fact it's their only US #1 single when they did better songs that were released as singles..........so irritating. Angry

Ya know honestly the studio solo is so mediocre for a Gilmour solo in my opinion. The only version of this song that I actually enjoy is the version on Is There Anybody Out There. Snowy Whites Solo is much more interesting to listen to then the studio one. Also Wrights solo is a fantastic addition.

'Echoes' was the first song I remember hearing. I was only a toddler, but I remember it very well when it came on the radio.
