You know, I have never actually heard Syd speak. I know he wasn't exactly the kind of guy who craved the limelight even in his best days, but I was wondering if any bit of footage/audio exists of him just talking?

My friend Alex and I discuss Pink Floyd, and I've told him before that as a John Lennon fan, I have many interviews, films, albums, and memorabilia to rely on. I also explained to him that as a Syd Barrett fan, Pink Floyd's appearance on The BBC Look Of The Week is the only footage I've seen of Syd speaking. I've heard other audio of him speaking though, in between songs on the albums 'The Madcap Laughs' and 'Opel'. He's also got a BBC Sessions album that I don't own and haven't heard; it's possible that he may speak on that as well, but I don't know.

powrtoch66, you may want to change your posting colour. That bright green is hard to read....plus, it`s giving me a migraine.

:D Aw, thanks guys! I'd probably post here more often again if my life wasn't as cluttered as it is nowadays.
