The people wearing the shirts is bad enough but there is worse. There are people out there that hear bands play cover versions of floyd songs and they think that said cover band wrote the song. For example. I was siting in the pub with some friends the other week and someone plays comfortably numb on the jukebox. So when I hear the intro I say to my friends "Oh thats comfortably numb, someone in here has good taste." so one of my friends turns round to me and says to me "I didn't know you liked the Scisor Sisters". So while im in shock my girlfriend (who knows that comfortably numb is a floyd song) starts laughing and quickly advises my friend to run before I get up and kill her.

I also happen to hate the Scissor Sister thing. The first time I saw it on TV I couldn't believe it.. I hate it when ****** bands kill good songs.

Speaking of the Scissor Sisters, they are performing a song tonight on that show Dancing With Celebrities. Haha it had better not be Comfortably Numb!

Glad this topic is back up, because I have another tale of infuriating-ness.
I was playing Counter-strike yesterday, and someone gets the Floyd reference in my online name. (I always use "CarefulWithThatAxe,Eugene" unless it's too many characters) Someone else says, "Dude pink folyd sucks!!!"
My first reaction to this is always: "How many of their songs have you heard?"
Oh, he had a STAGGERING list. In exact order:
1. Speak To Me
2. On The Run
3. Money
4. We Don't Need No Education
He was on my team, but I teamkilled him enough to get myself kicked from the server.

Lol. It's always the same when someone says they think pink floyd are crap. You ask them what songs they've heard and they always say we dont need no education and thats usualy all.

but that is what we must suffer, and in exchange we get to understand the music that few others can.

I supose puting up with these people is the price we pay for knowing what musical perfection is. Plus it's better than being one of them and not knowing the wonders of the floyd.
