sorry to add this here, but I was wondering if there was any way to change my name. I thought of a better one right after I joined and I was curious if i could change.

Your help if appreciated, and once again, sorry for asking a dumb question.

Changing your name would involve a site admin going in and editing the PHP, would be quite time consuming.
