In my opinion, this board is still a very fun and entertaining place, as it should be! Plus, I think there are two types of 'cross-fire' that can either be beneficial to the forum or not: meaningfull and trivial. For instance, when two members argue over whether or not a band is good, thats obviously trivial. But if those members argue over, say, the MESSAGE or LEGACYof a band, then that could be both interesting and enlightening to all who particiate and read.

Of course, what it all boils down to is this: we are all here because we enjoy Pink Floyd so much that we feel compelled to share our feelings with others. It is a wonderful use of technology to be able to tell someone 1000+ miles that you are glad that you are not alone, not alone in feeling so moved by this incedible band.
