Hey Guys,

My name is Daniel. I found this site thanks to someone joining up at another Pink Floyd forum. Decided to try it out. I am 26 and have been a fan of Pink Floyd since about the age of 11. (not 100% sure).

I do come here under a cloud, which I thought I should make members, but especially Moderators aware of. I believe the last forum I was at I got banned from. (pf&co) Now I have not been given a reason, but I did disagree with a lot of the points Sandy was making and when I confronted her about them well that is when I could no longer access the site. I wont go into what we were discussing (not at this point anyways), who knows it may come up in some sort of discussion, but hopefully the members here are a little more grown up than at the affore mentioned site.

Anyways it is great to be here and I hope to have many sharing moments of the greatest band on earth with you all.

Thanks c. checked and done. I run a forum myself on sports and am very used to rules and am a little baffled as to why I got banned but hey thems the breaks.

Yeah, I agree dude. Joe & Sandy are really nice people, but for some reason, whenever people don't agree with their opinions/views they come back saying those people are wrong or don't know what they're talking about. It's like they think that all that they say is fact, when it's not. I've actually seen Sandy do this more often, Joe may have occasionally as well. They're nice people, but they kind of piss me off when they do things like that.

Welcome Daniel! :) Hopefully you will find this to be the friendly Floydian forum you are looking for. We don't "discipline" for differences of opinion here as long as The Rules are followed, which you should find to be basic common sense rules. If everyone agreed on everything, we wouldn't have anything to talk about and that wouldn't be very interesting at all, would it? I believe this forum should be about the sharing of opinions among those who share a common love - Pink Floyd. I am looking forward to hearing yours. :)

This is for 33 and funky dung...

PFCO has basically same rules as here. 33 violated rule #3 and rule #5 (yours) many times at pfco, and we had quite a few requests to ask him to leave from other forum members.

Funky... we may seem strong with our opinions but that comes with age and knowledge. The point is..

R vs D fights have to be stopped cold and fast because they can be the downfall of any good forum in short order.

Look what happened to the EMI forum several years back!!

Apologies to PF Online for responding to this but I had no choice.

Joe, I actually forgot you were registered here. Listen man, I'm sorry, I'm not trying to insult or make fun of you and Sandy over here, I probably shouldn't have used the words I did. You guys do seem to be correct in your statements most of the time, but I just always thought you guys were very strong with your opinions and you kind of thought of they were fact. No big deal, I'm doing nothing here but complaining. I just want you guys to know that I'm not insulting you in any way or anything, you know. :blues:
