I haven't been active on this forum for quite some time but felt it fitting to offer my condolences to Mike & his family at this sad time. Mike was active on many forums (not all Floyd related) and made many friends along the way.

You'll be missed............Shine on!

This is sad news. I`m shocked.
The word "fan" is often mis-applied, but not in Michael`s case. A massive Pink Floyd and hockey fanatic (as his username suggests), he would travel all over for gigs, and he had an enviable collection of Floyd memorabilia. I`m sure success in his career, owning his own company, allowed him to follow these two passions to the fullest.
I remember thanking him for sharing the excellent pics & video he took of Roger Waters` Tampa Bay gig, a few weeks back...they were brilliant.

What a testament of his love for the band.

I just read his profile a few days ago, he said he liked travelling, and saw he went to Switzerland, where I have been once, have been mostly to Holland, or spent most of my time there, going there 3 times in the last 2 yrs, Germany twice, and never got a chance to ask him...

Such bad news...

Wow, this is a shock. I knew him a little bit, he was definitely a hardcore fan, and he had quite the collection of Floyd-related material.

Jintsey, you edited his profile right, i believe it would be suitable also to change his location to granchester meadows, as that is now where he is. God this is sad.

I haven't been here very long, but I remember Floydianleaf posting about the Roger shows he was going to or had seen, and I remember seeing his Floydianleaf hockey jersey.

As someone else said though, how wonderful that he did get to see some shows recently and that his ashes will be scattered in Grantchester Meadows.

My condolences to his friends and family. Very sad.
