Which album is best, musically?

I voted for The Piper at the Gates of Dawn

Although not my favourite album, once again, as with the lyrics poll, it has to be Animals.

So? It's a great album musically. Listen to "Interstellar Overdrive" and tell me otherwise, I dare you. The melodies are gorgeous, and they're very fun, and happy, they're really out of this world. Nick's drumming is great, Rick and Syd harmonise beautifiully, it has a nice blend of sound effects, instruments, and really creates an atmosphere of its own. Hence why I voted it, so kindly shove off. :D

I agree with everything you said, but it's not the best music Pink Floyd ever made though, is it? Hm?
