OK, this poll, suprisingly, hasn't been done before because the old forum had a 10-choice poll limit, and there are 14 studio albums - do the maths.

So, for the first time, PFO has a "Fave Album" poll, I held out on posting it 'til now, convinced that someone else would do it, but living up to my Whongolian given title of "Poll Master" I shall open it

So, simply vote for your favourite Pink Floyd album. It would probably be a good idea for a mod to "sticky" this so that duplicates aren't made in the future.

Piper is definetly my favorite even though DSotM is better in terms of lyrics and musicality. But psychedelic rock and the effects they do with the organ is just priceless. Plus, it's the only album where I like every single song.

I vote, like dyolf, for PULSE, as my favourite studio album is DSOTM, and any album that contains that in its entirety and many ither brilliant songs is a major plus.

If its live albums well DSOT gets my vote better playing and song performances. Sounds more "live" then Pulse which sounds at times bland and passionless.

Piper is my fav floyd album at the moment the re-release has given me a whole new apperication on the album and the bonus disc is excellent Paintbox a great 60's floyd track and the take 6 version of Intersteller Overdrive is awesome.

David sounds so Raw and fresh on it. His tone is so live and full of fear it amazes me how he can control the feedback so well.

I love Dave's voice on this album, I think he was at his (vocal) peak on this tour. Evem The Dogs Of War sounds great.

I voted for Meddle... it seems like it has the best balance between the free-spirited experimentalism of their early stuff and the sheer quality and sonic scale of their middle stuff.

But, ask me on a different day and I might choose Piper or Wish You Were Here... all three albums are so great.

This is a tuff one. I would say that Darkside would be my favorite only because I like just about all cuts from it. Then I would vote for Saucer Full!
