I hope the church goes bankrupt, although, I highly doubt that will happen. Good job by the jury. The people who cheered that soldier's death, ought to be ashamed of themselves. Karma's a b*tch, and I hope it comes back to each and every one of them, soon.

Even though they call themselves Baptist, it says the church isn't affiliated with any major denomination, and most the members are the reverend's extended family, so it can't be too huge (let's hope not). If that's the case, then I can't imagine $2.9 million NOT bankrupting them... nice decision there by the jury!

I actually remember hearing about this protest on my local news, because York, PA isn't that far away from me.

This is cool. I guess the Rev. Phelps and his flock won't be disrupting any more soldier's funerals now. I think that, rather than Hell, the perfect destiny for people like this is for them to find themselves sharing a non-exclusive hereafter with the usual crowd and facing the grim reality that they'll only acquire paradise by accepting their neighbors.

They should all be locked in a jail cell with a 6ft 20stn guy called "Buttercup", I would happily post the lube.

On the news they're saying it was close to $11 million! And that the church consists of about 60 people. And that they vow to KEEP protesting military funerals.

And I bet these people are breeding.

I'm a Baptist and I would NEVER join these all american addholes, BUT i thought about gunning them down while they demonstrated. I love justice.

nownow, don't worry, I dont' have a gun because I get PMS. Not a good combo. Really, there is no excuse for them.
