I don't have anything agains Christian beliefs, the Bible states homosexuality is a sin, so Christians are bound to be against it, or at least some of them, but it doesn't give them the right to do what they did. I don't turn up at a Sunday Service shouting "God is bullcrap and Jesus was a paedo!" or anything...

Well it goes without saying that these people are radicals and do not represent the vast majority of Christians out there. These days most Christians are more tolerant, and even if they do believe homosexuality is a sin, they would NEVER think of doing something horrible like interfere with a funeral. Plus, it's not even like these soldiers were gay (not that THAT would make it any better)... these idiots just believe the war in Iraq is God's punishment for our nation's tolerance of homosexuality, and apparently they think they're accomplishing something.

I seriously can't believe nobody had sued this church for invasion of privacy and emotional distress before this. They've demonstrated at over 300 military funerals in the past two years, and prior to that they were doing the same thing at funerals for people who were gay and/or had died of AIDS. Thankfully, some states have passed laws against funeral protests, and it's illegal at federal cemetaries... I'd love to see some criminal charges and brought against all of them.

Hmmm... wonder what Kansas law says about funeral protests? Would be a real shame if one of THEM were to die and people showed up at THEIR funeral to cheer.

For a bunch of people with such an obvious aversion to women, and who only like to think of the female birth canal as a one-way street, they should be looking much closer to home to exercise their bigotry.
Picketing the funerals of soldiers who`ve laid their lives down in the service of their country...is it possible to stoop any friggin` lower?
If they want to make a moral stand, they should do something useful...picket the a-holes who sent these brave men to their deaths.

Because you can get away with the most APPALLING things if you have the word "Reverend" in front of your name.

That is the problem...this notion that just because a belief is "deeply-held" it must be "respected", however divisive, bigotted or feeble-minded that belief may be. Personally, I think that`s BS.

On other forums people are saying that these people have been mentioned on TV (in America) before, and it's largely an inbred family I'm pretty sure incest is a sin too
