Aye, but here Christmas really begins on 1st November on TV and in shops, and doesn't finish 'til 5th January, 2 months of the year, not one day. Most high streets in the UK will be decorated by local councils soon, the supermarket I work at was decorated on Sunday... Christmas is by no means only one day.

That's incredibly offensive that you assume everyone who is a Muslim is a terrorist. Also, you cannot "take away" Christmas. What, are people going to be punished for celebrating a religious holiday? So a Tesco store is going to take down some silver glitter or some shit. If you let something that trivial ruin your Christmas then maybe you don't know what it's about. Any Muslim is just as qualified as you to celebrate their religion. Perhaps more qualified, because you seem to think it's about decorations and caroling

The original meaning of Christmas has been lost. The holiday is meant to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Mistletoe? No. Caroling? Nada. A fat man in red that bombs along in a flying sleigh giving toys out to greedy kids? NO.
