Is it really David who sings Time at Delicate Sound Of Thunder? Because it sounds so much better and different than Time he sings at PULSE....

Well I have Delicated Sound Of Thunder CD only few days, before I only knew Pulse and I really loved it, but now I realise that eg. Time on Pulse sounds so...emotionless. And there are probably more songs which sound better on Delicate.

The DSOTM songs on Delicate seem to feel more loose and arranged slightly different. This is certainly true of "Time", with some different keyboard sounds, the vocals, and Gilmour's guitar solo is a bit sloppier.

The Pulse version is good if you basically like how it is on the original album.

I like both. They're just different.

As much as I love Pulse, I must say I am not a huge fan of the Time solo. I don't like the sound of David's guitar. I think he needed to use a lot more distortion like on the original Darkside. That's why I learned the original solo, because it's his best version.
