Never heard of this album
I came across an auction of a Pink Floyd album named Libest Spacement Monitor on ebay. The cover had a picture of David Gilmour. I don't remember ever seeing this anywere. They was no set list on the description. Anyone have this?

As I recall, the name, "Libest Spacement" comes from a bootleg where the guy who recorded it thought that Roger said, "Libest Spacement" after a drum solo. What Roger really said was, "Nicholas Mason." So it's probably some old bootleg. I don't know where the Monitor part comes from though.

It's a very, very nice bootleg, a wonderful version of Embryo, recorded at The Playhouse Theatre in London on Sept 16, 1970. But, it should NEVER, EVER, EVER be sold

RE: Never heard of this album
I just purchased Stairstep to Abandon, another bootleg vinyl off ebay. Can't wait to get it! Lost an auction on another, double lp bootleg an hour ago. This may turn into my new collection hobby as I have all of the studio lps and with several being audiophile and/or japanese pressings.

Track listings are:

Side One: Echoes

Side Two: Breathe, On The Run, Time, The Great Gig in the Sky

EDITED
A: Please read my posting below
B: What you paid money for is NOT even a real bootleg, it is something thrown together by a company illegally simply to fool people into paying for what they believe to be a complete whole legit show

Gotta stay awake, gotta try and shake off this creeping malaise.

That's not even a full show, and you paid for it? Why? Nearly every Pink Floyd bootleg is available to download for free. Blink

I have said this before, but mostly in the old "Collector's Corner" so here it is again. To purchase bootlegs is illegal, period. Please do not discuss such actions here in a public forum. The attention such things can bring is NOT something this forum wants or needs.

I agree, that's why I questioned the album and would not bid on it. I ask anyone who buys bootlegs or uses illegal down loads, " Why would you screw over the artist you care about". It's theft.

If I could travel back in time 30 years ago, I'd actually go to the shows on my own. If the record companies would realize the cash cow they are leaving behind, I'd buy them from them. I would much rather have a studio version of a live concert than a bootleg since they tend to be much better quality.
