It's not "so-called" spam....it IS spam. It's real easy to spot the spambots around here.

And if you think Money is too long, I'd hate to know what you think of some live versions of SOYCD or Echoes that neared 30 minutes in length. I've got a version of The Embryo they did in Cincinnati in 1971 that is 28 minutes and change.

Length wouldn't be a problem if the notes weren't as sharp. Seriously, though, the first time I listened to it, I ended up having headache and ear pain.

I've never thought of the notes being sharp.....that's not generally something I think about or worry about, honestly.

In fact, it's quite a valid reason to dislike a song, although I don't personally find this annoying in Money particularly. Lady Floydian, if you want, I can record a song for you with some incredibly sharp notes in it. I'll put effort into making them annoying to your ears. I suppose you'll then understand Joe's opinion.

Yes, there are music with sharp notes in it, but the thing with Floyd is that their music does not involve sharp notes. Their music is very soft. Contrary to, for example, King Crimson (from Lizard and forwards).

... Right. I think you should listen to Echoes sometime, since you've obviously not heard it yet. :P

There's nothing that's annoying to my ears in Echoes.
