I don't know why, but "Perfect Sense" was the first song that resonated for me off "Amused to Death". Maybe it's the line about "and they gave him command of a nuclear submareine" or maybe it's the imagery from 2001. I deon't know.

I didn't know the song when I saw Waters in 99 but hearing it for the first time live, I was blown away. I was so excited to hear it on this tour. Each time I went this tour (all 5 of them) I went with people who never heard the song before. I told them to just wait for Perfect Sense.....sure enough they were all blown away. I love how people sit down, leave their seats, etc when it comes on. By the end everyone is up from their seat cheering and clapping! Sylvia sings her ass off in that song!

I knew the song in 99 and I loved to have some pictures to go with it....But it has enough imagery that I really didn't need the pictures.
