RE: London 18th May Review - By Me :d
Anyway, nice review, thanks for the work you obviously put into it.
As for the lipsyncing, I'm pretty much a purist about that, but it's good that he seemed to be doing most of the show live. Also, you said that one of the only songs he was doing it on was Us and Them--I kinda assumed the singing on this would be done by Dave or Jon.

RE: London 18th May Review - By Me :d
It's the 3rd time I've seen the DSOTM concert now, Hyde Park '06, Earls Court '07 and last night in the o2, I felt that the atmosphere was very flat for the first half, it seemed that the majority of people around me only wanted to hear songs they knew ie Money/ABITW etc, it picked up after Us and Them people actually got off their arses and showed some emotion! One gripe, the ticket clearly stated 7.45pm start so why do people just amble in at 8.10pm and get in the way? The amosphere was nowhere near as good as Earls Court and and don't feel the o2 is as good a venue as Earls Court, that said the Quad was more prominent last night. Highlights for me were Have a Cigar, Leaving Beirut, Us and Them (Carin is a legend!) Vera and BTBBH. Overall 7/10 for atmosphere and crowd, 8/10 for show and 8.5/10 for sound.
I will finish be saying that I feel Roger has really flogged this tour to death now, time to get in the studio, bring out the DVD and then concentrate on a new album.

One of my dreams is to travel to London to see Roger Waters (or Pink Floyd...you never know, right?).
But...seeing as I'm an eighteen-year-old Canadian university student with limited funds, I'm at a loss at the moment
but what you've got means such a lot to me

I'm glad you enjoyed Rogers show, buddy. What did you have for Chinese? I rather General T'sos with fried rice, or just combination fried rice with lots of hot sauce.
I don't mean to be a crap stiring person, but I watched a tv show in America tonight, and they seemed to be convinced that PF was going to go out in the whole, as in Rog too, in 09.
With that said, I've NEVER seen Rog, and until this year, I wouldn't have bought tix. Based on the stuff members have said around here, I would if he came within 500miles of my location.
In the interest of full disclosure; I'd see any of them in any guise at this point. Rock on roger.
The grass was greener
The light was brighter
The taste was sweeter
The nights of wonder
With friends surrounded
The dawn mist glowing
The water flowing
The endless river
Forever and ever.

Then I guess I better start saving.
Because I'm going.
It's not even a question of "will I get tickets?" anymore
I WILL GET TICKETS
