The Stories behing every Pink Floyd song.

Just got this for 10$ at Barnes & Nobles. Anyone else read it? One odd thing about it is that in the font liner note it says; not to be sold outside North America. The author wrote to Waters before writing it & got back a response saying Waters did't want it to be written.

Anyway, when I'm done reading it, if anyone in a far off distant land has an interest in it, lemme know & I'll mail it off to ya.

while it is fun reading I would certainly be very, very careful of considering it to be anywhere near 100% accurate...or even 80% for that matter

I saw this book at Borders (if it's the book I'm thinking of). I don't remember how many errors I saw thumbing through it, but the one that stood out to me was in the Discography. If I remember correctly, he only listed Roger Waters stuff and one of his albums was listed as Radio CHAOS. That made me put the book back. I realize it's a minor point but for someone who supposedly writes for Rolling Stone, he should have a better grip on call letters in the US. It's called KAOS for a reason....

I like it so far. The only potentially offensive thing is he mentions possible borrowing done here & there, from Kinks in one instance & a couple other artists mentioned. Could be bollocks.

Ugh, it is bollocks

Page 167 it mentions Division bell tour took in 68 cities, grossed 150 milllion, & played to an estimated 5.5 million. This makes the Floyd the biggest grossing act in rock history.
