Well hello there everyone! I'm new to these forums, and for the most part, new to Floyd in general. I've heard all the stuff that most people know about such as DSOTM, The Wall, Animals, etc., but I've only listened to the aforementioned albums a couple of times and currently don't own any of their albums. On Monday I'm getting paid and I have the opportunity to get the box set with all the studio albums. Do you think it's worth it to do so? Anyways, I hope to contribute to this forum regularly. Welcome JDW and welcome to Pink Floyd. Pink Floyd released their 1st album in 1967 and their last studio album in 1994 so there is a bit of scope there. I will say (and this a personal opinion) some albums are better than others but all of them deserve a listen. The albums you mentioned are some of thier best work but not all of it. Also have a look at Pink Floyds history, It's quite a story. have fun mate and don't hesitate to ask questions, we're all PF nut's here.
