Pink Floyd The Wall 30th Anniversary
Has there been any news on what is going to happen with the anniversary or any events surrounding it? Because so far I only know of the Scarfe On The Wall book, but I'm not so much of a "Wealthy" Floyd fan.

Hopefully Roger will have The Wall Broadway play finished but i highly doubt it.... You could check out Aussie Floyd ( http://www.notaussiefloyd.com) rumouirs have it they will play the complete album next tour... might be as close as you can get.

I'm pretty sure he means CD releases. Like the 30th Anniversary The Dark Side of the Moon.

i personally don't like dark side of the moon all that much. I think it's extremely overated. The Wall and Wish You Were Here are like 1 million times better. I mean the wall has the trial

The irony is that The Trial is also the reason I don't like The Wall.
I know I believe in nothing but it is my nothing

RE: Pink Floyd The Wall 30th Anniversary
At the time it was released and for years after , the Wall was how I identified Pink Floyd . Admittedly , it came out when I was 15 and I was absolutely convinced that the world was about to blow itself to hell and back , so all of the angst and acrimony in the lyrics really struck a chord with me . Today , 30 years later , it still holds aplace in my soul and listening to it can still bring back those feelings , but I'm not the same snot nosed kid who first picked it up . The Wall works on so many levels , so many different medias , I think that is what makes it so remarkable , but thank god it wasn't the only thing they ever made .
