Yeah, that was nice, wasn't it? They have Rick singing the low parts.

One interesting thing is that Rick is actually singing more on David's "solo" tour than he was on any Floyd tour since the mid 70's.

That's an interesting wikipedia link, thanks, Marcin.
I think Rick sang the high harmony on Echoes, which I believe was the stronger part of the duet. The live at Pompeii movie is the visual I always get when I think of Rick singing.

Rick did sing the high part on the original Echoes, although it's usually listed as a co-lead vocal rather than the harmony (the only difference, really, is the volume of the two voices). However, I've heard that, sometime later, they ended up switching parts live--Dave sang the high part and Rick sang the low part. Then, on Dave's recent tour, they changed again: Dave and Rick sang the low part together in unison, and Jon Carin sang the high part.
