Poor Richard. I just heard about it too, from Liam. I'm stunned. I knew he was thin, but he was always thin, wasn't he. OMG, I'm crying for him and his family. Poor Richard.

For now i think we'll just let the threads go. When Syd passes there were many different ones and they were eventually merged together. This isn't the time to worry over that right now.

I can't explain how upset I am to hear that he's passed. Not a day has gone by for many years of my life, where I don't listen to a Floyd record and think about Rick's amazing contributions. This is an extremely devastating loss to music and a very sad day. I just want him to receive the respect he and his has always deserved. He is amazing and Pink Floyd would not be so without his contributions.....

I always felt that this song was the true essence of pink floyd, and that the unity in it was truly a beautiful thing.

i couldnt believe my hearing today when the radio said rick wright had passed away last night. WHAT? i'm still in shock... I cried and cried all the way to school. i cant express the grief i feel and no doubt thousands do as well - i know this thread wont do Rick justice at all, i just had to send my love and respect to him and fellow fans that will be mourning.
Rick is just awesome, ever since he started, and will shine on into the future. Syd - he'll be joining you there... shine on you crazy diamonds.
