Hi I'm new here and was wondering what the concensus choice would be for a book on the details regarding Pink Floyd's history and the relationship inside the band and the trials and tribulations over the years.

I'm looking for the inside stories pertaining to Syd being dropped from the band, what it was like in the period after Syd and then the subsequent Waters departure. And of course, why and how it all happened.

I know there are probably dozens of differing opinions out there depending on the bias of the opinion holder but are there any accepted sources that have written books that true Floyd fans consider as the truth ?
