Hi all,

my favorite track is Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast

Fat Old Sun followed by the title track.

How did Alan's get zero votes!? For me it's a toss up between that and the title track.

I just love AHMS- yeah its experiemental and has its flaws, but anyone who really loves Floyd knows that's part of their appeal. Sometimes Floyd's experiements can fall flat = portions of APB, but they still have worth. They tried things other bands were afraid to do.
I'm new to this board and I'm suprised to see how many people posting negatively about some of their songs. While we all have things we like & dislike I tend to think PF fans have open minds. That's why tracks like AHMS encompasses all they are- creativity, experimentation, true musicianship, sucesses and failures...

AHMS was also the first song I heard after my daughter was born- so there's a wonderful memory.

Really enjoy the whole LP. Summer '68 is great and so is Fat Old Sun. If & APB are good too, not great but good - and still better than a lot that's out there.

The title track, by far. All else is sheer rubbish, except for "If", but that one shouldn't have been a solo song either.

I'm undecided between Atom Heart Mother Suite and Fat Old Sun, but I decided Fat Old Sun..

My faves are Atom Heart Mother and Summer '68.
