Alot of old rock albums have been getting reissued on the formats they originally appeared on:vinyl. Do you think Capitol will ever do any vinyl reissues of any Floyd albums. I'd love to see them do vinyl reissues of everything from Piper to The Final Cut. I feel like emailing them personally and asking them this question. What do you think? I'm all for this idea.

they came out with a dark side reissue a little while ago...im not sure when i bought it but i think it was for the 30th annv. altho i may be wrong...im not sure if there are any plans for other albums tho...one can only hope

It's not just re-releases of old albums, it's some new music too. Joe Bonamassa's Live From Nowhere In Particular, which was just released last fall, is available on vinyl. He has a new studio album, The Ballad of John Henry, coming out in Feb... not sure if it'll be available on vinyl too or not. But that seems to be the "new" trend. Wouldn't surprise me if Floyd stuff would be re-released on vinyl at some point.
