RoIO's! do tell and discuss!
i'm still a very recent floyd fan, the beauty of Records of Illegitimate Origin (RoIO) or bootlegs was just introduced to me last week. so i decided i would put my collection up here to share and give others a chance to share their own unreleased/rare/RoIO's of the floyd.

Pink Floyd: Interstellar Overdrive-1966-68
Pink Floyd: What Syd Wants-1967
Pink Floyd: Pinkie Milkie- 1967
Pink Floyd: Live In Rome- 1968
Pink Floyd: Celestial Voices, 1969
Pink Floyd: The Complete Zabriskie Point Sessions, 1969
Pink Floyd: The Man & The Journey-1969
Pink Floyd: Broadcasting From Europa, 1970
Pink FLoyd: Mooed Music-1970
Pink Floyd: Fillmore East- 1970
Pink Floyd: In the Shadow Of Vesuvius-1970
Pink Floyd: From The Other Side-1972
Pink Floyd: Who Was Trained Not To Spit In the Fan-1977

RE: RoIO's! do tell and discuss!
I only have a handful of Floyd bootlegs, some of them acquired from the World Wide Spiderweb, others I received from a distant friend of mine for no charge. They're mostly Harvest releases, some a bit more shifty-looking. Mostly, they're just the most essential ones:

-Interstellar Fillmore (1970)
-Animal Instincts (1977) - one of their best nights
-BBC Archives 1967-1969
-BBC Archives 1970-1971
-BBC Archives 1974
-Bowl de Luna (1972)
-Cruel But Fair (1975)
-Who Was Trained Not to Spit in the Fan? (1977) - the infamous spitting concert
-Interstellar Zappadrive (1969)
-What Syd Wants (1967)
-The Man and The Journey (1969)

I also have a few DVDs:

-KQED: An Hour With Pink Floyd (1970)
-Roger Waters Video Anthology
-Pink Floyd Video Anthology
-8mm (1972-1977)
-The Wall Rehearsal (1980)
-Belgian TV 1968

I'd have a lot more, but my broadband connection f**ked up, and I've had to use dialup for the past year or so. It's just pointless waiting for weeks and weeks for a 6GB DVD file to download using a 56k connection. I'm hoping to upgrade again soon, though.

I know I believe in nothing but it is my nothing

Sorry, wrong word. I meant to say "Harvested", which is a company that releases heaps of really neat RoIOs, they're pretty cool. I think they have a website somewhere, but...I can't really bother looking for it.

i cant even begin to start my collection but in saying that alot of my cds and my old hardrive got knicked i should probs try and catologue it again i will one of these days...

I think i might just find the best bootlegs from every year floyd gigged and just use that like

1967 - Syd Barret gig
1977 - Animals tour
1980 - The Wall

Etc ..

Maybe someone should compile a list of great bootlegs by year, performance and quality.

Actually there are a few great websites for that, namely http://www.pf-roio.de/ and http://fingalscave.home.comcast.net/~fingalscave/

Both sites give location, date, recording quality and a few performance notes but none really give an honest review of the material being preformed.

Since so many of us own live recordings, maybe we should start posting our own reviews of boots/roios, or whatever you wanna call them! if only to give collectors some idea of what they are getting when they start gathering boots.

Here's what I have so far:

Live at The Piper Club. Rome, Italy, 5-6-1968
Concertgebouw. Netherlands 1969
Darkness Over Frisco. KQED TV Studios. 4-29-1970
Interstellar Encore. Filmore West, San Francisco. 4-29-1970
BBC, Paris Theatre, London. 7-16-1970
Ultimate Zabriskie Point
Echoes In Irvine. Irvine Auditorium, University of Pennsylvania 11-21-1971
Hunter College, New York 11-5-1971
Falkoner Teatret, Denmark 9-25-1971
Something From Nothing, Lisner Auditorium, Washington, D.C. 11-16-1971
Dark Side of the Rising Sun, Hokkaido, Japan. 3-13-1972.
Hollywood Bowl, 9-22-1972
Winterland Auditorium, San Francisco, 9-23/24-1972.
Boston Gardens 6-18-1975
Echoes From The Past, Los Angeles Sports Arena, 4-26-1975
In The Flesh, Soldier Field, Chicago 6-19-1977
