Getting back to the talk about Roger's PF vs. David's PF...

I believe there are three (maybe four or 3.5) albums that accurately portray the harmony of the core musicians. During the recording of DSoTM, WYWH, Animals, and marginally The Wall, is when I feel (through the music) Pink Floyd peaked.

Aside from those three, and the fourth more likely favoring Roger, Pink Floyd was trying to find itself (during the earlier albums) and was then, unfortunately, splitting up and losing synch with The Wall and Final Cut being Roger works, MLoR and TDB being David works.

Although I adore MLoR and TDB, my favorite Floyd is one driven by Roger, but including David, Rick, and Nick. With the loss of Rick and the steady unbalance of feelings between Roger and David, it seems the harmony of Floyd will never occur again in this lifetime, but aren't we lucky to have that sound on recorded media?
