The end of "Outside the Wall" and the beginning of "In the Flesh?" can be spliced together to hear a voice saying, "Isn't this where we came in?"
I may seem like a total noob here, but I've never heard anyone talk about it, so I just thought I'd bring it up. I think it adds a new dimension to the madness. I've known what it's like to overcome a wave of depression and be caught off-guard by the next one. :(

I love that bit. I remember listening to "The Wall" for the first time and hearing the bit of music from Outside the Wall at the beginning (of course, I didn't know what it was at the time), and then when I heard the last song I was taken aback...then, at the very end, I heard "Isn't this where..." and it cut off. I was perplexed, and so I started the album over and cranked the volume...hearing "we came in?" at the very beginning added a whole new dimension to the experience.
Truly a feat of genius on the part of Roger Waters. I think hearing the album loop like that is the most powerful part of the album.
If it ain't dirty, don't clean it.

I've known about this for some time now but it is truly genuis the mind of Roger Waters & how he messes with your mind. Also since we are on the subject if you listen to the album (cd.) in reverse order (disc 2, then disc 1) "Pink" commits suicide at the end with "Goodbye Cruel World". Just puts a different twist on the story.

Yeah, my old band got paid to do a Floyd show for a teacher at our school's b-day (he's a huge Floyd fan). He let us play the Wall backwards to throw a twist in. Great times.

Im not sure I totally understand what you mean here. Do you mean just listen to the songs in reverse order, or do you actually have to play it backwards? I really wanna try this out

Just play The Wall disc #2 then play disc #1 straight through that way when the story ends "Pink" commits suicide (Goodbye Cruel World). All you're doing is playing The Wall in reverse order for a completely different out come.
