I-Spy Syd in Cambridge
Apparently you can now go on Syd Barrett walking tours (!) in Cambridge... they look unofficial though.
Has anyone seen this? Do you think its worth doing or just someone attempting to cash in on Syds memory? http://i-spysydincambridge.com
Might be a nice way to learn a bit about Cambridge in the 60's though...

Sounds alright.
Some of the colleges, architecturally, are worth a stroll round too - as you`d expect from an 800 year old university.

If you read our site correctly you will note that I went to the same school as Roger Barrett and Roger Waters.I also managed a local band for which Syd
played on several gigs.We are doing these tours with the support of the Cambridge Tourist Board and will next year be running some of them in conjunction with The Syd Barrett Fund. They are not simply about Syd,but also include mention of other local 60s musicians and narrative about the influences that created the famous 60s.You should also note that we are supporting a new charity called TrustMusic. If you would like to go on the contact list, you will get regular updates from us that should clarify everything.

I stand corrected and the site is looking great following the revamp...
Anyone who hasn't seen it yet should check out the free booklet download - very interesting and contains many previously unpublished facts about Syd and 60's Cambridge.
