Whilst must thankyou for bringing this news to our attention I feel you are quite insensitive adding the laugh (haha). Personally, I dont find it funny at all. What Richard did with his money was entirely up to him. Wether or not his ex wives received any of his will is really none of our business and certainly nothing to laugh about regardless of the relationship betweem him and them. A will is a very personal thing. I am glad the money has gone to his family and I think it is a very moving thing that he has asked for a party to be held in his memory by his friends. The next time I pour a drink to myself I will toast his memory. Shine on Richard.

His former wives all got substantial settlements. I'd say he's paid up and owes them nothing more.

Cool, though, that he left his Bosendorfer to his son-in-law, bassist Guy Pratt.

The question I have to ask , is who was on the guest list ? As far as the ex-wives go why would he feel the need to give any of them another penny ? I imagine they drained him pretty good through the divorce settlements .

I totally agree with you Iain. What Rick did with his money was his own business. He certainly had good reasons for not wanting to let any of it to his wives and we don't need to know these reasons.

That Rick don't give them anything might have another reason. The death duties are very high and this could be a reason to leave it to his children instead to their wives, so that the duties will be managed one time. But it ain't none of my business.
