This is kinda old news, but Jay Reatard died last week at age 29. An autopsy was performed, but a cause of death hasn't been determined yet.

Under the subject of how stupid can you be , I present Pastor Terry Jones , the genius behind the International Burn The Qu'ran Day . You know , there has got to be a way to prevent brothers and sisters from mating .

I'm not thrilled with what he's planning either -- in fact, I'm buying a Qu'ran on Saturday just to counteract in my own way, what these morons are planning on doing.

That said, he has the right to do it. Just like he can burn a Bible or a Torah or the Bhagavad Gita or the Satanic Bible if he wanted. If he wants to look like an ignorant, backwoods hick bigot, that's his prerogative.

Yeah, like those that desecrate the flag & such and think it's cool, these fools leave what little brain they have home when they do it. At least he has had second thoughts about it.

I have no problem with people who burn the flag. My dad burned more than a few flags protesting the Vietnam War in the late 60s.

I see a difference in flag-burning and the burning of religious texts.

Everybody makes bad choices, another grace given by a free country (so far). That reminds me of those that done that, whiners that couldn't be drug from the country of the flag they bitched about. Kinda reminds you of the "yes we can" croud, huh. Cuba needs workers like this. P.T.Barnum was so right.
