Although I do recognize its influence, and the emotion that's involved in its creation. There's definitely devotion in punk; it's just not the type of devotion I like.

A lot of the stuff you listed I wouldn't consider prog rock, but it is good. My favorites from your list are Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Traffic, Frank Zappa, E.L.O. and the Moody Blues.

Actually, most of their stuff is KRAUTROCK (at least their pre-Robots stuff), which is a sub-genre of progressive.
