How nice Thumbsup

My father got his for free. He won it in a competition. I don't think he'd ever pay that much for a computer, haha.

There are some things I don't think should be cheap. Computers are one of those things. I mean, winning them is one thing, but intentionally seeking out cheap computers is just.....I don't know why people do it if they don't have to. They'll end up costing you 10x more in the future when they break down or need expensive parts replacement. It's better to pay more up front so you're not paying more in the future. That's why I won't use anything other than an Apple anymore. With AppleCare, if something happens to your computer that's not your fault; as in, you didn't spill something on it, drop it, throw it out a window, whatever.....Apple will repair it for free.

Haha, gotta love Apple. They refused to fix my 5 year old iPod nano, though. The top of it flew off, but they said they stopped making parts for iPod nanos 2nd gen, so I'm screwed o.o. Hopefully, I'll get another one as a birthday present from my sister since she's in NYC, and they are cheaper over there.

That's not Apple's fault, though. They don't make any old versions of anything anymore, be it computers or computer accessories like iPods. That's why you have to take very good care of your electronics, because after a certain point, there's no service for them anymore.

Indeed. Although, it's hard to daily use an iPod Nano for almost 6 years without it breaking at a certain point. The reason it broke is not because I didn't take good care of it, but the top part, the part that has the hold button is actually glued to the iPod, and I guess the glue went off with time. Luckily, I had not locked the iPod before it came off, so now I still get to use it...it's just unlocked all the time Smile

RE: The Notebook v. 3.0
I'm extremely happy. This morning, I missed the bus, and figured I'd skip the first class, and since I had two free periods, I'd wake up at 10. So, I did that, and went to school. When I went to school, one of my classmates told me I missed the classic picture, so I was disappointed. Later, when the whole class knew that I arrived, we retook the photo, and it made me really happy. And also, I absolutely love Garage Band. I just plugged my guitar into it, and I can finally improvise with a chord progression in the background!

Thank God for google maps/traffic. Off to the airport now for a pick-up (people, not drugs or women etc Ermm) and found a less busy route, it's always chocca to the airport.
