Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Hey, I found a 4 leaf clover today, thus achieving one of my life goals...to find a 4 leaf clover on St. Patrick's day, which is no easy task in central NY, but goes to show...if'n one tries and works hard, to achieve a goal, even if it looks unlikely...it can happen. Usually we have 3 feet of snow on the ground. Anyway, I have a collection of about 50 or so 4 leafclovers, but this in the only one found on St. Patrick's day. Oh happy day!

Oh heck, I missed it again!

Was my first sober one. The last two years I spent it in Dublin.

It's actually St. Paddy's Day, as Patty would be Patricia not Patrick, or so says the Irishman that lives across the street from us.


Anyhow, I didn't celebrate it because for one I'm not Irish and two, I can't stand drunks or being around people who are drinking heavily. I do hope that everyone else that celebrated it had a good time.

Yeah, we all say Paddy and not Patty here in Britain. "Paddy" is also slang for an Irishman.

I googled it to make sure it was right, it's always known as paddy but you know how we do words, not pronounce what's there & pronounce what's not there. I know people on the east coast are really catching heck with that man caused global warming. ( sorry about that but I couldn't resist. You know how I am)

Well I've spent 2 Paddy's Days in Dublin, and they recognised it.
