C Numb - heard version with - 'Fleeting Glimpse' AFTER the Final Solo?
Hello (hello- hello),

I posted here after a few days of not being answered in a different room.

On the radio I recently heard a version of Comfortably Numb that added a 2nd occurrence of the verse 'When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse' AFTER the Final solo.

I really liked it but can't find it using numerous search engines or search terms. Has anyone heard this version and know where I can find it?

It was a Pink Floyd or Roger W. performance but it blew me away when the verse was sung again After the Final solo

Thanks!
Bill

It's not the official album version, I think we all know that. I've never heard any version, whether live or otherwise, that includes any singing after the final solo concludes. Might have been a glitch on the part of the DJ/programmer who put it on the radio.

Could be, or maybe it's an extended version for radio. Wouldn't be that out of the ordinary.

I hope we can keep this going a bit more in hopes of finding someone who can locate it for me.

I don't think it was a mistake. The final solo was 'subdued' and transitioned perfectly into the verse that followed. Now- I realize that to many folks reading this they couldn't think of anything Worse than having the song continue after the final solo... BUT when I heard it it made all my hair stand up and chocked me all up.

I haven't heard of an extended version for radio. I did some Googling around to see if such a thing exists, and to my research, none does.

I too have never heard any version like this. Just a thought..........are you certain it was Pink Floyd? The reason I ask is there's a station in Milwaukee where I live, where from time to time they'll play cover versions of classic songs.
