Your worst illness/ailment?
I have had quite a few injuries and illness's in my time but I have had Tennis Elbow for over 5 months now and it is getting me down and is by far my worst injury, I have tried Acupuncture, pain killers, herbal tablets, exercise, massage, change of diet, ice packs and even rest but it still hurts like hell Sad I think it's my age and job. There's no way I'm opting for an operation, especially on the NHS.

How about you guys, what's your worst?

RE: Your worst illness/ailment?
That sounds like no fun what so ever , getting older is a pain in the butt . For me , it had to be Hep C , especially the treatment to get rid of it , the disease hadn't actually progressed to the point where it was causing me a lot of trouble , but going through the treatment was an experience in and of itself . Imagine flu like symptoms off and on for a year of chemical therapy , itchy skin with no rashes , no appetite and you have one nerve left and everyone is on it . Now imagine that you do this and it doesn't work , you still got the stupid little virus and you get put on the "guinea pig" list , waiting to be experimented on by the medical profession . Not fun . On the bright side , I got to learn a lot about myself in regards to personal limitations and determination , as well , the experiment appears to be a success , so far . Unsure

Hemorrhoids.

We've seen how sick wind blows
But I've got your bovine eyes
I'll love you like I love you,
Then I'll die.

RIP Devon Clifford (1979-2010).

RE: Your worst illness/ailment?
I fell off a roof while putting up Christmas lights. I shattered the heel bone in my left foot and completely wonked the soft tissue my ankle. I now have 9 screws and a Y-bracket just in my heel bone holding it together, I walk with a constant limp, my left leg is now 1/4-inch shorter than it was and have to have an orthotic wedge in my shoe.

Good times.

Don't tell me there's no hope at all,
Together we stand, divided we fall.

RE: Your worst illness/ailment?
Well I don't really share this much but ehhhh why not. Since last year I had been struggling with really bad anxiety and depression. I also became extremely paranoid. It got to the point where I couldn't even step outside anymore. I became isolated and a prisoner in my own home. There came a time when school wasn't an option anymore and so I had to let that go. It was a really difficult time. It's getting better now but there are still days when it feels like it did in the beginning. It might have been difficult but honestly it's made me a different person. I have learned to appreciate things more and it's made me remember to enjoy everything in life. I know that's hard to believe but I'm getting back on my feet and starting my life all over you can say Happy

Thanks for letting us know, it's a strange one I guess, me and a friend were discussing similar symptoms regarding someone we know, it came on all of a sudden without any signs. It's a very serious problem and well done for getting over it. Thumbsup

I think the worst illness must be Mental illness. If the person is suffering from the mental illness, It is really painful to deal with such a situation.

Sometimes good things come from bad.....I know from my own personal experiences with depression. You have to take it one step at a time. I'm really glad you're doing better! Happy is a great feeling!!
