And strangely enough, one of the places I shopped yesterday had a Dio concert video, Evil Or Divine for $4. It was on a long shelf with several and varied other movies and I practically walked right up to it. Twas a bit weird.

I listened to the Elf album yesterday as well. Significantly more piano on that album compared with anything else he has done.

I really didn't listen to Dio much.. Only what they showed on Metal Mania on VH1 Classic... but I know he was a very talented person and will be missed

I hope you picked that one up, SOJ. Sounds like a great baaaaahhhhgin! And yeah, Elf had a lot of piano driven songs that were more decidedly in the vein of older Stones material than anything Dio was involved with later. Cool to hear that stuff....

Have you heard Jeff Beck's new one yet?

Yes, I did buy the Dio DVD.

I heard three songs off the latest album when I saw Jeff play last month. I have yet to buy the new album though. Lens buying addiction really has me in it's grips this spring.
I understand that Jeff may again have some serious health issues himself.

I never heard of his music but its always sad to hear of someone that some many loved and cared about dying at a young age. Yes 67 is a young age to die when people are living up to 100. May his music live on. I will keep his fans, friends and family in my prayers and thoughts. He has touched a lot of people.
Still the biggest female Roger Waters fan after all these years I am so not tweny two years oldThumbsup

Long live rock & roll. Long live Ronnie James Dio.
We've seen how sick wind blows
But I've got your bovine eyes
I'll love you like I love you,
Then I'll die.

RIP Devon Clifford (1979-2010).
