Saw this thread on another forum I belong to, but using a different band -- I thought it might be interesting to see what you would choose for the Floyd. It's pretty simple, in order from best to worst, rank the songs that opened and closed Pink Floyd's albums. The Wall and Ummagumma are double-albums, but for this thread the opener would be the first song of side A and the closer would be the last song of side D.

Cluster One and High Hopes over SOYCD and Echoes !... well, after giving it some thought it makes more sense. Good list all in all. My main concern is Speak To Me. A great opening track, easily among my top-5.

I left out the rest. I felt that by listing any below "7", it would seem as if I find them inferior to the others. The only openers/closers I really hate are Pigs on the Wing (cheesy and meaningless), Absolutely Curtains (simply annoying to listen to), and Sorrow (the two former combined, though not as badly).
