it is big, but it says it will resize it. i do have photoshop, so i could do it myself, but this comp is crap, and i dont want to wait 10 mins and have my computer freeze up just to post an avater. please help?

When you go to User CP and then "change avatar", you have to use the "avatar url" option, not upload avatar. You have to upload the picture to a site like Imageshack and then put the direct link url in that space and it'll show up.

I had the same problem until I realized that it didn't resize automatically. I shrinked my pic and then it worked.
