On which album? According to Wikipedia, he didn't use one on Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking and on Radio K.A.O.S., Ian Ritchie played the Fairlight, which I'm assuming is a synthesizer.

Its noted that he never played any synths on the albums apart from The Dark Side Of The Moon, Recording Sessions.
Where as you can see in Live At Pompeii : Directors cut he uses a EMS Synthi AKS and a EMS VCS 3

What about all the sound effects in The Wall? Aren't they made by synthesizers?

Yeh but thats Rick Wright playing along with Bob Erizin the producer and Brian Eno.
Roger was the bass player not the synth player.

For Rick Wright he used all sorts of things

RE: Water's Equipment [Request]
Alright, so I checked this

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Wri...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Wright_(musician)

and that

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Waters

Apparently, both Roger Waters and Richard Wright used synthesisers. If anyone could provide me with the list of songs in which Richard Wright was the one using the synthesiser, I'd really appreciate it, because I want to taste Richard Wright's groove. Roger Waters had an immense influence on The Final Cut and The Wall, so that's one down, David Gilmour was the 'leader' after Roger Waters left, and also had a very important influence on The Division Bell and A Momentary Lapse Of Reason, and I kind of feel him anyway since he probably comes up with most of the solos. Nick Mason...I never really understood how a drummer could have an influence on a band unless he composes music...anyone can use drums. Nick Mason is the funniest and the most charismatic in my opinion. Yeah, anyway, enough of that! Rick Wright?
Perhaps I'm posting this in the wrong place since this is the Roger Waters section, is there anyway to move the thread? If not, does it matter?

I just found out Rick Wright was the 'main producer' of Dark Side Of The Moon, including Us and Them and Any Colour You Like, so I'm guessing he was the jazz-funky kinda guy?

...our minds shot together.

Rick was very influenced by jazz, yes. Especially Miles Davis. If you want a list of songs where Rick is playing the synthesizer, go to Wikipedia and look at every single song they did. That was his job. He played organ, keyboards, pianos, synths, and a whole host of other instruments in the same vein. He even played trombone on Biding My Time.

He could also play the saxaphone, although not on any Floyd songs that I know of.
