David and Rick's voices melded very well together -- if you listen to The Embryo and Burning Bridges especially, it's fantastic.

Burning Bridges is amazing. David and Rick's voices are the most soothing thing ever. They would have sounded really good if they had done some scat singing together Smile

What about Echoes? Best harmonization ever.

The previous posters to me had already mentioned that song, I was bringing up a couple more.

I think Echoes deserves another mention, so yes I agree with Arno here. It's great.

Biggrin

Didn't notice the previous mention though. Sorry, LF. :P

Echoes is BEST during David Gilmour's live in Gdansk show. Even if Roger isn't there. I LOVE the part where they do the scale/riff up and down, its very intense.

Roger Waters - The Wall Live. December 12th, 2011. Second Comfortably Numb guitar solo= best moment of my life!

Yes! I know! I also like the Abbey Road acoustic version. Richard threw in an amazing solo.

Echoes in Gdansk may have been great, but it was never better than when the full band was performing it. That's no slight intended to David's touring band, just that as good as it was, Pink Floyd did it 100x better.

I second this. I also think David's voice is a bit too dominant in the Gdansk version.
