Oh their roadie. Did Alan have any more of an influence then that? and as a Rodie did he even do anything important?

No, I think he was just one of their roadies. I would assume his duties were no different than what other roadies were doing.

Alan was a roadie who is visible on the back of the ummagumma album with all the equipment, I dont think he had a huge influence, Nick probaby found him funny (APB was recorded in Nick's kitchen) and the band likely had some unfinished instrumentals so they figured that they should use a recording of Alan making breakfast to tie the pieces together. Also, I heard that Alan cooked some damn fine meals for the band. Hopefully that answers any questions you had because thats all I really know on the subject. I think that making a song in this manner would be really fun to do, maybe someday ill try and post it here.
