I would guess we'll see the occasional Hoping Foundation type show, but that's it as far as any reunion. Its just not Pink Floyd without Rick............and David knows that. Personally, I just want him to concentrate on his solo stuff and continue to make great music that way.

I recently saw a video where David made a toast for Rick and announced that he's very sad because Rick was a friend, but he was also an essential music mate, and that he won't be able to play lots of stuff now that Rick is gone.

It's kind of saddening. I read on Wikipedia he used Deep Purple's keyboardist for his solo work. Any idea how that turned out?

I think Jon Lord played on About Face (record, not tour). If David does another album and/or tour, Jon Carin would be the obvious choice but as good as he is, songs like Echoes, Us & Them, Time are songs that Rick sang on, and would be difficult for him to perform. Echoes would probably be the most difficult..........

Sorry but I don't agree, I think Jon Carin can pull it off, obviously it would not feel the same without Rick and Rick certainly had his own style but it can be copied, it's writing new material where Rick will be missed most apart from visually but if the remaining three got back together for a one off, and I think they will and have always thought so, it'll be the best concert in history in my opinion, I'm sure Rick would also want this.
