I just noticed Jon Carin was the keyboardist on Marooned and Keep Talking on Echoes: The Best of Pink Floyd. And we didn't even notice, so yes, Rick's style is imitable. It's just a question of manners. Should they throw a Pink Floyd gig now that Rick is gone?

There are a few musicians that can very well be described as members of Pink Floyd, in a way. Jon Carin definately, but also Dick Parry, Snowy White, Guy Pratt and Tim Renwick. They've contributed so much musician wise, both live and in the studio, so it's fair to give them their due.

Rick Wright was the keyboardist on Marooned and Keep Talking. If you look on Wikipedia, while not always the bastion of 100% correctness, it says that Jon Carin played "additional keyboards." That's not the same as the main keyboard work.

You don't hear what Carin is doing, you hear Rick Wright.
