Wowow, just came across this on accident earlier. I've searched high and low for decent recordings of Animals (even Animals-era) recordings...I've probably listened to 15 different Animals boots (and then some where Roger played an Animal's tune or two later down the road), but this recording truly takes the cake.

I've only had a chance to listen to Pigs (and I'm not even finished with that), but it's undoubtedly the best recording I've EVER heard of a live Animals show. I can't wait to get in to Sheep :|

A bit of searching revealed it's the Pavillion de Pigs show, played in Paris on February 22, 1977.

If for some reason everyone else is already aware of this show and I'm just "out of the loop", well...you should feel bad for not telling me xD

Personally i think Animal Instincts the Oakland Colliseum show is the best one out there performance wise. Audio wise its pretty good the remaster ron and the harvest boys did was awesome.

The best bootleg from the Animals tour is Mr. Pig. It's from the May 9th, 1977 show in Oakland. You actually feel like you're right on stage with them, either that or the recorder's microphone was clipped to David's mic the whole time. I have Pavillion de Pigs, and it's not bad.....one of the better ones from the European tour.

Mr Pig is The Oakland Colliseum, Animal Instincts botleg renamed.
