Pink Floyd Night on BBC6
Is anyone listening right now?

They just plugged Pink Floyd Online and some other Floyd sites. :)

That was cool to hear my site mentioned on the radio. rocker

Playing some good, more rare Floyd tunes, too... Cymbaline is playing now.

Just heard PFO mentioned, haven't been here in a while but thought I'd come back for this. I'd forgotten how good Cymbaline is!

Hey Wings on the Pig!

I was actually in the other room and didn't hear fully when PFO was plugged.

Can you recall what was said exactly? I think I kind of heard "Thanks to Pink Floyd Online, Brain Damage and Neptune Pink Floyd for letting fans know about our Pink Floyd Night Special" or something like that.

Was that about what it was? Did they mention anything else like the URL? or just say "Pink Floyd Online"

Just curious. :D

I wonder how many people are listening to the show too. I'm not from the UK and don't know how popular BBC 6 Music is... and now might be checking out the site cause of the plug.

Just said Pink Floyd Online if I remember correctly. No URL. Unsure

It's actually a very popular station in the UK. A few months ago there were plans to take it off the air and there was a huge campaign to stop it, which obviously succeeded. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few thousand listening. Biggrin

Very awesome for this great site to get a plug! I missed this because I wasn't home when it was airing in EST time, but still. If anyone has iTunes, if you to the Radio section, and then the Classic Rock genre, there's a station called 4 Ever Floyd, which plays nothing but Pink Floyd music 24 hours a day. There's a similar station for Led Zeppelin as well, I believe. I turned it on earlier, and heard Not Now John, and then Echoes. Interesting segue. Laughing
